Install Error -5006 when installing Print Manager Plus

Issue

This is a known Install Shield X error that is usually the result of a corrupt or incorrect installation of a previous application.

Solution

To solve this error please follow these steps:



  1. Login to the Windows machine, as an account other than Administrator, but still has Administrative rights.

  2. Locate the Print Manager Installation file.

  3. Hold down shift, and right click on the exe.

  4. Choose Run As from the menu

  5. Specify the Administrator account and input the appropriate password.

  6. Install as usual.
